Background
I owned my first 1275 GT back in 1987 and have been an avid fan of all Mini's since then, as was usual at that time, most of the car had fallen apart due to tin worm and all panels needed replacement, after a re-spray the finishing touch on my metallic blue MINI was a set of original Gold Stripes. These proved almost impossible to find twenty years ago and when I did track a set down they were over £50, I managed to swap a set of Twin SU Carbs and a Janspeed exhaust system for these. Well worth it as it finished the car off properly.
